Registering by Email Address


Steps:
  1. Tap Login on the Hik-Connect page to enter the Login page.

  2. Tap Register to enter the Register page.
  3. Tap Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to read the relavant content and then tap Agree to continue.
  4. Tap Register by Email Address at the bottom of the page to enter the Register by Email Address page.
  5. Enter your email address and then tap Get Security Code to get the security code for identity verification.
  6. Enter the security code you received and then tap Next to continue.
  7. Create a password which contains 6 to 16 characters of letters, numerics, and symbols.

    • We highly recommend you create a strong password of your own choosing (Using a minimum of 8 characters, including at least three of the following categories: upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special characters.) in order to increase the security of your product. And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system, resetting the password monthly or weekly can better protect your product.
    • Proper configuration of all passwords and other security settings is the responsibility of the installer and/or end-user.
  8. Tap Finish.
